This year, we will mark Remembrance Day in school on Wednesday 11 November 2026.
Our usual Collective Worship will be moved so that the whole school can come together to observe the one-minute silence at 11.00am. During this time, we kindly ask parents and carers to avoid contacting the school by telephone, unless it is an emergency.
To help us honour and remember those who gave their lives serving our country, pupils who are members of a Scouting or Girlguiding organisation are warmly invited to come to school wearing their uniform on this day.
When we return after half term, poppies and other remembrance items will be available for the children to purchase rom the classrooms during the school day. If your child would like to buy something, please send them their money in a sealed envelope. Standard poppies are by donation and for all other items we kindly ask for a minimum donation of £1.00.
We look forward to coming together as a school community to remember and honour those who have served and sacrificed for our country. 🌺
