SATs Infomration Session for Year 6 Parents/Carers

We would like to invite parents/carers from year 6 to attend an information session about SATs on the above date and time. The session will explain what SATs are, why they are important and how they fit into the children’s learning and the wider curriculum.
There will be a presentation from Mr Ray, who will discuss how the school prepares and supports children throughout the year and during SATs week, what the assessments involve and most importantly, share practical strategies that you can use at home to help your child feel confident, prepared and supported.
The session will be an opportunity to gain a better understanding of SATs, ask any questions you may have an learn how we can work together to support the children during this time.
